Nevis CBR Advocates Receives Generous Contribution from Nevis Island Administration

In a heartening demonstration of support, the Nevis Island Administration has made a substantial financial presentation of $5,000 to Dr. Glenville Liburd, the lead and founder of the Nevis Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Advocates. The noteworthy donation was personally presented by the Minister of Health, Gender Affairs, and Social Empowerment, Hon. Minister Jahnel Nisbett, on behalf of the Nevis Island Administration. Dr. Glenville Liburd, upon receiving the generous contribution, articulated the organization’s vision and purpose. The Nevis CBR Advocates, with their motto “Transforming lives through inclusion and participation,” are dedicated to uplifting individuals with disabilities from the shadows and championing their active involvement within the community. Dr. Liburd expressed gratitude for the financial support, assuring that the funds will be employed to great effect in launching their upcoming Summer Camp 2023.
