Capacity Building

One of our core areas is to try and build the capacity of NGOs to tackle Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Through webinars, training, and technical support, we aim to empower organisations to make a meaningful impact in NCD prevention and control in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Through webinars we aspire to provide valuable knowledge sharing and learning opportunities, connecting our members to experts and practitioners in the field so that they gain insights into best practices and innovative strategies for NCD interventions.

We  also plan to offer specialised training programs tailored to the unique needs of NGOs. Topics include advocacy, community engagement, project management, and fundraising. Our goal is to enhance organisational capacities and maximise impact.

In addition to training, we will provide ongoing technical support by collaborating with partners and experts who can offer guidance on program design, monitoring and evaluation,  grant writing, advocacy, policy development, resource mobilisation, and partnerships. Through this support we hope to help our members navigate the complexities of NCD management.

By providing a comprehensive capacity building programme we seek to build a strong NGO collation fighting to tackle NCDs and thus make a lasting impact on the health of our communities in St. Kitts and Nevis.
